With only love for Tammy, Bill is always willing to do what will make her happy, even if it goes against his own desires. Extremely cunning and biting, Camille L’Espanaye runs the PR for the family. She’s made her life’s work not only about spinning bad behavior into good press, but also collecting files filled with every dirty secret of those closest to her. Goodwin starred in CW’s iZombie and was also part of projects like Reacher and Breakout Kings. Malcolm Goodwin brings a younger version of Auguste to life, who was an investigator, proving that the character has long been looking to do the right thing and find justice. Gildford previously played a role in Criminal Minds, The Midnight Club, Midnight Mass, Good Girls, L.A.’s Finest, and more.

Mary McDonnell as Madeline Usher

Auguste Dupin, one of the most interesting characters in "The Fall of the House of Usher." The character of the same name in Edgar Allan Poe's fiction is a detective, considered by many to be the precursor to more famous literary investigators like Sherlock Holmes. In the show, Dupin is an investigator of a different sort, serving as both Roderick Usher's adversary and the man to whom he confesses his many sins. Seasoned actor Mary McDonnell is one of the Mike Flanagan newcomers in "The Fall of the House of Usher." But though she hasn't worked with Flanagan on any past projects, there are still plenty of movies and shows where you've likely seen her before. In "The Fall of the House of Usher," Gugino takes on the role of Verna, a mysterious and supernatural figure who haunts the eponymous family.

The character’s name comes from “The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket,” Poe’s only complete novel. In the book, Pym stows away on a ship and survives a shipwreck, mutiny and cannibalism. A former model and actor, Morrie left that life behind her for a loving marriage and motherhood.

They join the 41 nominees across its documentary, news, public service and radio/podcast categories announced by Peabody earlier this week. You might not know Katie Parker's name, but if you've been following Mike Flanagan's work for a while, you definitely know her face. Parker started working with the writer-director all the way back in 2013 with "Oculus," in which she plays an unnamed store clerk. She joined "The Haunting of Hill House" as the ghost of Poppy Hill and returned in "The Haunting of Bly Manor" to play Perdita Willoughby-Lloyd. She's also worked with Flanagan on "Doctor Sleep," playing Silent Sarey, and on "The Midnight Club," playing Paragon founder Aceso. With the exception of Goodwin, Nuñez and Jun, each of the new additions have worked with Flanagan and Macy before on previous projects, with many having been specifically involved with Flanagan and Macy’s production company Intrepid Pictures.

He's Luke Skywalker, after all — perhaps the most famous protagonist in all of cinematic history. When you're the star of a franchise as big as "Star Wars," it's hard for any of your other work to get out from under the shadow. To this day, Hamill is certainly best known for his work on George Lucas' original trilogy, as well as his reprisals of the role in "The Last Jedi," "The Rise of Skywalker," and, in a digitally modified capacity, "The Mandalorian." In addition to her work with Flanagan, Parker's credits include playing Bernadette on "Masters of Sex," Nicole on "Rizzoli & Isles," and the leading role of Val Mayfield in the sci-fi series "Alt."

Prospero, the youngest Usher "bastard," only recently learned of his parentage and joined the world of the ultra-rich and powerful. He hopes to use his (father's) newfound wealth to live his entire life as one long party. Rahul Kohli is another Flanagan alum, with roles in Midnight Mass, The Midnight Club and The Haunting of Bly Manor.

Parker is a regular on Mike Flanagan's shows and movies, having recently appeared in three of his Netflix offerings as well as his films Doctor Sleep, Oculus, and Absentia. Other credits include Masters of Sex, Halt and Catch Fire, Rizzoli and Isles, Alt, and The Resident. Nuñez is a Mexican actress who has been appearing in telenovela, theater, and film roles since she was 19. She rose to fame while starring on the international hit novella Amor en Costodia, and she went on to star in the shows Pasión Morena, Destino, Reina del Corazones, and La Reina Del Sur, as well as films including Mexican Gangster, Los Inadaptados, and Dariela los Martes.

Henry Thomas as Elliott: The ET cast

We’re just a few weeks away from principal photography on THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER, @intrepid‘s latest miniseries for @netflix. Today, Executive Producer Trevor Macy and I are elated to unveil the first wave of our cast. A ton of cast members have been announced for Mike Flanagan (Midnight Mass, The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor) and Netflix’s upcoming limited horror drama The Fall of the House of the Usher. The second-eldest Usher sibling Tamerlane knows she'll never be the Fortunato heir (even though she's much more competent than her brother), so she has found a new career path in the health and wellness world. She has the "perfect" marriage with her fitness influencer husband Bill T, but their polished life (and her constantly anxious mind) is beginning to crumble. As is "Flanaverse" tradition, several of Flanagan's frequent collaborators have returned to fill out this troubled, dysfunctional family which makes the Roys look like the Brady Bunch.

Lenore is the purest member of the Usher family, with Roderick even considering her to be the “best of.” She’s kind, empathic, and always looks to make conscientious choices instead of considering the family first. Miller played Hannah Grose in The Haunting of Blu Manor and also appeared in television shows Foundation, The Peripheral, and The Diplomat. The actor appears in projects such as Average Joe, Fire Country, The Rookie, Midnight Mass, and more. Mark Hamill’s Arthur Pym is the Usher family lawyer who is incredibly talented at what he does and is always willing to do what is asked of him. As much as he’s there for the Ushers, his more personal qualities remain a mystery to even his closest friends. Mary McDonnell’s Madeline Usher is the incredibly intelligent and calculating brains behind Fortunato.

She crossed over to U.S. productions with the AMC series The Son, and she's since appeared in Bad Boys for Life and the TV adaptations of The Purge and Resident Evil. Though Victorine, the eldest of the Usher "bastards," has made helping people her life’s work, her true driving force is her need for Roderick's approval and affection. Her revolutionary new heart technology is still in its testing phase, but with Roderick showing interest, Victorine bends the rules of clinical trials to start testing on human subjects. Sloyan has previously appeared in series including Scandal, Criminal Minds, Grey's Anatomy, The Rookie and Minx, among others. She has also had roles in the Flanagan projects Hush, The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass and The Midnight Club.

And though he was overwhelmed with his sudden global fame right after E.T.’s release, the 52-year-old actor has embraced the movie that solidified his acting career. Commercial for Xfinity and Sky UK, he played an adult Elliott who, along with his family, gets a visit from E.T. Sweet Elliott was a lonely boy whose father had just left the family to be with another woman, and whose teen brother wanted independence more than he wanted to include Elliott in his plans. So when Elliott met an accidentally abandoned E.T., the little boy and the little alien became best buds. Thomas won a Golden Globe Award for his unforgettable, heart-tugging performance. Every story needs a truly detestable villain, and in "The Fall of the House of Usher," that's slimy business magnate Rufus Wilmot Griswold, played by Michael Trucco.

Although mind and body are separated, they remain dependent on each other for survival. This interdependence causes a chain reaction when one of the elements suffers a breakdown. Madeline’s physical death coincides with the collapse of both Roderick’s sanity and the Ushers’ mansion. One of the youngest stars of "The Fall of the House of Usher" Sauriyan Sapkota, who appropriately plays the eponymous family's youngest son, Prospero "Perry" Usher. Sapkota's only other IMDb credit is for Mike Flanagan's "The Midnight Club," where he broke out in 2022. In that series, Sapkota plays Amesh, a young, aspiring video game designer whose aspirations for the future are cut short by a devastating brain cancer diagnosis.

The game intricately weaves period art and print styles into its visuals while delving into the region’s evolving political, economic and spiritual landscapes. Lupin (Netflix)This French mystery thriller series is inspired by the adventures of Arsene Lupin, who was created by French author Maurice Leblanc in 1907. But in this modern version, gentleman thief Assane Diop (Omar Sy), in the mold of Cary Grant in To Catch a Thief, sets out to avenge his father for an injustice inflicted by a wealthy family.

The playboy employs his vices to help numb the pain of his reality, but his drug use troubles his live-in boyfriend, Julius. In recent years he's appeared in movies like Legends of the Fall, Suicide Kings and Cloak & Dagger. He also starred in Flanagan's The Haunting of Hill House, Doctor Sleep, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass and The Midnight Club. Bruce Greenwood is known for playing Captain Pike in 2009's Star Trek.

Loosely based on various works by 19th-century author Edgar Allan Poe (most prominently the eponymous 1840 short story), the series adapts otherwise unrelated stories and characters by Poe into a single nonlinear narrative set from 1953 to 2023. It recounts both the rise to power of Roderick Usher, the powerful CEO of a corrupt pharmaceutical company and his sister Madeline Usher, the firm's genius COO, and the events leading to the deaths of all six of Roderick’s children. It stars an ensemble cast led by Carla Gugino as a mysterious woman plaguing the Ushers, Bruce Greenwood as an elderly Roderick and Mary McDonnell as an elderly Madeline. Willa Fitzgerald is one of the few stars of "The Fall of the House of Usher" who hasn't previously appeared in any Mike Flanagan movies or shows. However, she's still plenty experienced when it comes to horror television. One of Fitzgerald's biggest roles to date is that of Emma Duval in "Scream," the MTV (and later VH1) series based on the popular slasher movie franchise of the same name.

Rather than inventing new medical tools or running the family empire, he wants to make life one big party — and the hope is he'll use Usher money to do that. Carl Lumbly's C. Auguste Dupin, an attorney, first encountered the Ushers more than 30 years ago. The actor, whose TV series include “Breakout Kings,” “iZombie” and “Reacher,” plays the younger, more idealistic Dupin, who later vows to take down the Ushers. The “Star Wars” actor plays the Usher family’s shady lawyer and fixer, who will go to any lengths to protect them.
